PACIFIC MUSIC FESTIVAL PRESENTS PUCCINI’S TURANDOT IN CONCERT

AT WALT DISNEY CONCERT HALL — SATURDAY, AUGUST 16, 2025

 

DISCOVER THE MAGIC WHEN rising star SOPRANO GOLDA ZAHRA TAKES THE STAGE AS LIÙ IN PUCCINI’S TURANDOT IN CONCERT joining world-renowned artists Nina Warren and Alfred Kim, along with Andrew Potter, the Opera Chorus of Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles Dream Orchestra under the baton of Artistic Director Daniel Suk.

With Los Angeles a buzz about this rising new star, Golda will take to the stage in her final L.A. performance this season in Puccini’s epic masterpiece Turandot in Concert. The semi-staged production takes place Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Walt Disney Concert Hall and is presented by the Pacific Music Festival, under the baton of acclaimed Artistic Director Daniel Suk.

 

Zahra will portray the tragic role of the slave girl, Liù, and joins world-renowned soprano Nina Warren as Princess Turandot, tenor Alfred Kim as Prince Calàf and Andrew Potter as Timur. They will be joined by the all-professional Opera Chorus of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Dream Orchestra and will include a beautiful children’s chorus (voci bianche), performed by the Classical Conservatory Choir from the Orange County School of the Arts.
